Koi Show

First, I would like to express my sincere appreciation for All who were willingness to participate  in the Fall Koi America 2010 Mid-Atlantic Koi Club Show (September 24-26, 2010).  It has been an honor to work with you all to make this show a very different  experience than other Koi America Shows.

It is with sadness and distress that I must inform you that the Mid-Atlantic Koi Club’s executive committee has decided to cancel this show. The reasons cited have included the continuing poor US economy and the slower commitments of show entrants and vendor commitments than the previous year. The committee members were also concerned for financial risk to the Mid-Atlantic Club.

For myself and the other volunteers who have been working with me to produce the best possible experience for our participants, hearing this decision was very upsetting. We are determined not to let this momentary setback dampen our enthusiasm for pursuing the beauty and joy of being a Koi hobbyist.

Again, thank you for your willingness to serve as a Volunteers or Vendors at the September Mid-Atlantic Koi Club.
I look forward to working with you again to bring a new level of expertise and professionalism to the world of Koi hobbyists in the United States.

                                    Sincerely

Philip Gray, Mid-Atlantic Koi Show Chairman

  1. I look forward to following your Fall Trip to Japan. It will be interesting to see the photos of Koi and any of the other sites around Japan that you are able to fit into your schedule.
